Diving Team wasestablished in 1956. It trained many good athletes on men’s synchronized event,including Yang Jinghui who won the gold medal on the 2004 Olympic synchronizedevent and Zhang Yanquan Man who won the gold medal on the 2012 Olympicsynchronized event. It also trained a lot of reserve talents for GuangdongProvince Team. There are currently 1 Captain, 1 Vice Captain, 7 coaches and 45athletes in Diving Team.
